Two King Troop scouts joined forces with two Southon Troop scouts and stormed to a 4th Place finish in the Overland Hike. This is one of the most challenging events in the County calendar. 68 Scout teams started, so this is a fantastic result – well done Angus and Josh from King Troop and Charles and Cameron from Southon!

Well done to our team of 5, Duncan, Alex, Amy, Philip and Sam
The team endured all kinds of weather on Saturday heavy rain, strong winds and even hail. They managed to get their fire lit and cook their evening meal in the downpour while maintaining a good team spirit.
In the morning they got up early and again managed to light their fire in damp conditions ready to cook their breakfast.
This was a good effort from the Scouts Well done!
Our hopes were raised for a moment when the winning patrol was announced but well done to winners Ticehurst Kingfisher Patrol.

The team came 5th overall. Joining up with the other Crowborough troops, for a combined Water Polo Team, they had the best winning score beating their opponants by 4 goals to Nil.
