OVERLAND

Well done to the King Overland team. In our first few months of existance, we have been able to field a team in one of the most challenging competitions in the sussex calendar.

Our team made good progress on the Saturday and were able to get into camp in good time. Saturday night, they camped in extremely challenging circumstances in temperatures that went down to -7 at one point. Sunday morning the set off well. Unfortunately they took a wrong turning and were not able to complete the second day.
I would like to say well done to the team – and also thank you to Oli (Oli spent alot of time preparing the equipment and food for the team!

You have done us proud and I hope the experience gained this year will give a good grounding for next year’s competition.
